laGeste present Grandpa Puss; or how God disappeared is a family epic about the reproduction of violence and about a granddaughter who tries to break this cycle.

The St. John’s Passion by Bach is the red thread in a sculptural show for the big stage with dance, singing, music and text.
Theatre icons Elsie de Brauw and Stefaan Degand share the stage with singers of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and the virtuoso accordeonist Philippe Thuriot.

21 people are on tour: 14 cast (4 of whom are children of ages 9-12) and 7 crew.
The premiere took place on the first of February ’23 in the Ghent Opera.
