Félicitations ! Waw waw waw ! Quelle performance ! Hilarante, émouvante, brute, poétique, puissante, dérangeante, excitante... quel groupe merveilleux, quelle interaction et quel plaisir.
O amor natural dépasse les codes binaires du oui et du non pour explorer le consentement dans sa richesse non verbale : murmures, températures, respirations, regards, présences et vitesses d’être et de mouvements qui tissent une toile d'intimité. La notion du consentement pose de nombreuses questions autour des pratiques de soins ainsi que des pratiques sexuelles et artistiques. Comment savoir et comment communiquer ce que l’on veut et ce qu’on ne veut pas? Sur quelle base pouvons-nous consentir à une pratique qui nous est encore étrangère?
Pour les personnes en situation de handicap, le toucher est souvent apparenté à l’acte médical, comme si leurs corps étaient des objets que l’on manipule et déplace sans tenir compte de leurs besoins physiques et émotionnels, dans une relation nécessairement dépourvue de toute sensualité. Dans O amor natural il s’agit de la complexité du toucher dans nos relations.
Andrew Graham le résume ainsi : "Soin, romantisme, identité fluide et fantasmes se mêlent dans cette création chorégraphique, pensée comme une série de Haïkus non-verbaux : des poèmes chorégraphiés autour du toucher, et des rapports de confiance possibles entre des corps, comme par exemple la connextion entre deux cœurs dans un tango." Les mots-clés de cette création physique sont le désir, l’amour, le plaisir, le consentement et la contrainte.
Au fil de sa pratique chorégraphique avec divers publics, qu'il s'agisse de personnes en situation de handicap, LGBTQIA+, migrantes, âgées ou d'artistes professionnels, Andrew Graham a été témoin, à maintes reprises, du besoin relationnel et du manque de contact qui amènent certains à la danse. "J'ai compris", dit le chorégraphe, "que la présence, la proximité, la disponibilité d'autres corps pouvaient être une réponse à ce besoin, une motivation pour danser. La danse devient alors un espace d'émancipation et de satisfaction d’un ensemble de besoins et d'intentions."
Six interprètes constituent le cœur du spectacle : Hamza Damra, Tijen Lawton, Isnelle Da Silveira, Wim Auwerx, Vladimir Perrin et Maarten Degezelle. Le cast réunit des univers différents quant à leurs âges, leurs handicaps (in)visibles, leurs expériences d’être racisées, leurs problématiques et leurs désirs, leurs esprits libertins ou conservateurs, leurs expériences de la danse et des pratiques de l’inclusion.
Steven Prengels, le compositeur de Gardenia, En avant, marche!, nicht schlafen, Mein Gent et Ombra d’Alain Platel est en charge du paysage sonore de O amor natural.

Public images
During events organised by laGeste, an ambience photographer is regularly present. These pictures may be published on our website, through social media and in our printed material. These are mainly pictures of the artists and pictures of the audience. Sporadically you may be recognisable as a spectator in one of the photos. All photos are stored on laGeste's secure server.
Very occasionally, events are filmed. This footage can be used via social media or edited into a promotional film afterwards. It may happen that members of the public are recognised in this, although we do not focus on faces.

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
