Alain Platel réunit choristes, danseurs et musiciens d'orchestre pour un nouveau spectacle centré sur la rencontre.
"Jamais l'ombre d'un arbre n'a été aussi délicieuse...", dit le célèbre aria Ombra mai fu de Haendel. Alain Platel et l'artiste visuelle Berlinde De Bruyckere s'inspirent de l'ombre d'un arbre comme lieu de rencontre, comme endroit où, partout dans le monde et tout au long de l'histoire, les gens se rassemblent pour se reposer, se rencontrer ou discuter de problèmes. L'imagerie poétique de De Bruyckere semble être l'âme sœur de l'univers de Platel.
Après le succès retentissant de C(H)ŒURS 2022, Platel invite à nouveau les choristes, les danseurs et les musiciens d'orchestre de l'Opera Ballet Vlaanderen à un dialogue créatif. Avec le chanteur et interprète TK Russell et les chorégraphes invités Mélanie Lomoff et Luis Marrafa, ils créeront le spectacle Ombra. Le compositeur Steven Prengels développe une nouvelle partition orchestrale dans laquelle il tisse des chefs-d'œuvre classiques bien connus de Händel, Bach, Mozart et Beethoven, entre autres, pour leur donner de nouvelles significations.

Public images
During events organised by laGeste, an ambience photographer is regularly present. These pictures may be published on our website, through social media and in our printed material. Very occasionally, events are filmed. This footage can be used via social media or edited into a promotional film afterwards. It may happen that members of the public are recognised in this, although we do not focus on faces.

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
