Minjung Sung

Minjung Sung began her artistic path with a foundation in acting in Korea, but her passion for movement soon led her to Austria, where she immersed herself in the study of contemporary dance.
She has studied at Anton Bruckner Private University, where she refined her craft and developed a dual role as both a dancer and choreographer, constantly bridging her artistic endeavors between Europe and Korea.
Throughout her time in Austria, Minjung had the opportunity to collaborate with choreographers and directors such as Anette Lopez, Jianan Qu, Bruno Genty, and Andressa Miyazato, and further expanded her artistic horizon through with Jasmine Ellis in Germany.
In Korea, Minjung performed as a dancer with the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, where she worked closely with choreographer Yochan Kang. She is also currently engaged in a long-term collaboration with Sungyoung Kim, the Artistic Director of the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, with whom she has been working intensively for nearly two years.

In addition, Minjung has showcased her own choreographic works and led workshops in Taiwan, further establishing her international artistic presence.

Minjung is deeply committed to the exploration of self-expression through dance, with a focus on pushing the boundaries of creativity. She embraces a wide array of cultural influences, consistently seeking new avenues of artistic expression in her work.
