Fyllenia Grigoriou

Fyllenia Grigoriou is a transdisciplinary dance artist whose work bridges performance, dance education and sociopolitics. She graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp in 2023 with a bachelor's and master's degree in dance and embodied artistic research. Based between Athens (GR) and Antwerp (BE), she is developing her artistic practice that revolves around social choreography, the politics of improvisation, and the psychology of memory and language, utilizing choreographic devices, poetic performatives, and political acts.

Fyllenia has collaborated with artists such as Alain Platel, Bérengère Bodin, Anton Lambert, Hannah De Meyer, Efi Birba, Nazanin Fakoor and Danae Theodoridou, contributing to performances and projects as a dancer, researcher and dramaturg.

She is currently following an educational program on society and gender at the University of Aegean (GR), and she is part of the teaching team of Wisper Organisation and Kunstacademie Dil'arte in Belgium.
