Inclusive workshops on Saturdays – spring 2026

This sping, laGeste is organising a new series of inclusive workshops for a mixability group: for people with visible and invisible disabilities, people with and without (dance) experience and people with plenty of enthusiasm and body positivity. Age, gender, religion, they are all allowed to play along, there must be diversity, disability leads to creativity.

We continue developing the theme “Welcome to the Hedonistic Research Lab” from the previous workshop series. The entire series is led by Gilles Polet.
The focus is on partnering, intimacy, and touch, always with care for each individual. Within this framework, we explore the concept of inclusive pleasure and hedonism: what does it mean to experience pleasure, enjoyment, and comfort within a diverse group of bodies and identities? How can the group collaborate in support of one person’s pleasure, and vice versa?

We create a safe, consensual space in which participants can explore and communicate their own boundaries, with curiosity at the center. Through guided improvisations, somatic practices, and playful tasks, we invite everyone to discover different forms of touch, proximity, and expression. We pay close attention to consent, mutual respect, and the acknowledgment of each person’s unique experience, so that pleasure is not imposed as a norm or expectation, but can emerge as an open, shared exploration.

For this series, Gilles once again works with a fixed group of participants, allowing for deeper work and continuity each week. Therefore, we ask participants to commit to the full series.

We will host a small showing for invited guests in July.
