Shahd Jabarin

Shahd Jabarin is a dancer, artist, and choreographer from Nazareth with a background in ballet and contemporary dance. She graduated from the Aida Dance School and completed her professional training at The Maslool for Professional Dancers in 2022. During her studies, Shahd was a member of the Shaden Dance Company, performing in prominent works such as Trilogy and When the Body Remembers.

Now based in Jerusalem, Shahd is a founding member of Studio Collective, a platform created by Palestinian dancers and artists that organizes artistic events and fosters creative connections within the community. She is responsible for project coordination at Studio Collective and has contributed artistically to various projects and performances, including Khotot Rapheaa (Fine Lines 2024) and Ala Atharek (On Your Trace 2023).

Currently, Shahd is completing her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary art studies, with a focus on philosophy and art history, to explore the relationship between dance, movement, and social change. She teaches improvisation at Sukoun and Oshak in Jerusalem. In 2025, she will premiere her first solo performance, Madar.
