Audrey Apers

Audrey Apers studied at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Theatre Dance at the Amsterdam University of the Arts.
Between 2013 and 2017, she performed with SALLY Dance Company Maastricht, LeineRoebana (Amsterdam), Arno Schuitemaker, and Romeo Castellucci.
From 2018 to 2020, she was an artist in residence at the Danslab program for young artistic development at SALLY Dance Company Maastricht. During this period, she created three works: Daydream Space, Remote, and Labour of Love, which toured various theatres across the Netherlands.
In 2023, Audrey completed a Master’s degree in Theatre Directing at RITCS School of Arts (Erasmushogeschool Brussels) with her graduation performance Vulcanize Me at Kaaistudio’s and PILAR Brussels. The performance has been selected for Jong Werk at Theater Aan Zee 2024 and the Amsterdam Fringe Festival 2024.
In addition to her own work, Audrey is a guest lecturer at RITCS and works as a coach and performer for other artists.
In the autumn of 2025, Audrey will be one of the performers in Gaze, the new creation by Laura Neyskens and Raphaël Vandeweyer.
In the 2025–2026 season, she will perform in
4 Women Getting Sick by Renée Goethijn and develop her new performance Under Your Spell, which will premiere in the spring of 2026 at Monty.
